One of our favorites, Open House! Can’t wait to do it all again on Sunday, September 13th from 12:30 to 3:00 pm.

1:00 to 1:30 pm: Performance
1:45 to 2:15 pm: Combo Dance (ages 3/4) & Beginning Jazz (ages 6+)
2:15 to 2:45 pm: Combo (ages 5/6) & Beginning Ballet (ages 7+)

Introducing the members of 2026-2027 HRDE, Houston Repertory Dance Ensemble, our pre-professional company at Amy Blake’s.

HRDE is for dancers who wanting to go the next level or go professional, whether that’s performing on Broadway, dancing with a company, or anything in between, HRDE offers the training and mentorship to get you ready for those spaces.

First up, meet Lexi Hua. A Junior at Kinder HSPVA. This summer she took her training even further, spending time at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.

We could not be more proud of the dancer and person she is becoming ❤️

It’s official. They’ve reached a new pointe. 🩰

There’s something so special about seeing a dancer receive her very first pair of pointe shoes. It’s a milestone that represents years of hard work, patience, strength, and dedication, and we couldn’t be more proud of these girls! Thank you to Backstage Dancewear & Gifts for fitting them all in their first shoe.

HERE WE GO!

Yesterday was the first day back and honestly it just felt SO good.

The studio was full, the energy was back, and it was a reminder that what makes this place home isn’t the building… it’s the people that fill it ❤️

Seeing everyone walk back through those doors for a new school year, there’s really nothing like it!
