Most athletes think hydration starts when practice begins.

I’d definitely doesn’t

Hydration is the accumulation of decisions made over multiple days

The challenge is that no two programs train the same

Some athletes train twice per day

Some train in extreme heat

Some have additional lifting, skill sessions, conditioning, or competition demands,

There is no universal standard

What remains constant is physiology

Even small levels of dehydration can compound overtime messing up

Reaction time
Endurance
Power output
Recovery
And your overall performance

The athlete who champions hydration consistently has the competitive advantage before practice even starts.

In today’s NIL era, athletic development is no longer something that you leave to chance.

Every year opportunities become more competitive.. and more SCARCE.

Roster spots become more competitive

Scholarships become much harder to obtain

Development matters
The question is …

Who is guiding your athlete?

Not every coach has sat in recruiting meeting

Not every coach has worked inside championship programs

Not every coach understands what separates athletes and the college level

At Bowens Human Performance we don’t guess.

We assess

We build a plan

We develop speed, acceleration, deceleration, movement quality standards, and performance through proven systems.

Saturday Accel Day was created to give athletes access to world 🌍 class speed instruction and expose them to the principles and expectations used in top human performance environments.

95% of ground based sports are played on acceleration and deceleration

That’s where games are won

That’s what we train

The NIL era changed everything.

Parents, your athlete doesn’t need more “daycare training.”

They need a plan. period

The athletes separating themselves today aren’t necessarily training more—they’re training with intention. Their strength work, speed work, recovery, practice schedule, and competition schedule all work together.

Random workouts create fatigue.

A structured system creates development.

Before adding another camp, trainer, or workout, ask a simple question:

What is actually limiting my athlete right now?

That’s why every athlete starts with a BOSX Assessment.

We identify the gaps.
We build the roadmap.
Then we train with purpose.

Assessment → Plan → Performance

Most people know the workouts.

Very few understand the system behind the results.

(So let’s get some straightening)

Over the last decade I have worked across NCAA athletics, Olympic development, professional sports, and private sector performance.

BOSX was built from one idea—

Stop Guessing. Start Operating.

If you’re an athlete, executive, or serious adult looking for a structured performance system, start with an assessment.

The weight isn’t the goal, it’s the diagnostic

This is Athlete 0- ME
I’m using the BOSX system on myself to continue building strength while correcting years of compensation from sport. This allows me to build while improving the compensations that restrict movement.

A 600lb Hatfield SSB squat shows output, but the actual focus is what the hips, trunk, feet and pelvis reveal under load.

For team sport athletes, compensation is the caveat for a much larger mobility issue. It limits position, force transfer, speed, durability and availability (which in an NIL era will be much more important)

While you can train around compensation, not addressing them leads to structural and soft tissue injury that can set one back weeks to years depending on the severity.

Inside BOSX, load is merely a tool. The goal is better movement quality, stronger structure, and a higher performance capacity.

Testing has a place.
But testing is not the entirety of development.

Maxes, fancy drills (that use 8lbs-15lb or less for dramatic social media effect)& special exercises may (and are meant) to get online attention, but athletes are built through progression not weekly spectacle.

At BOSX, we use testing as a CHECKPOINT.
The real work is building robustness, mobility and durability so the athlete can stay AVAILABLE, adapt and perform.

Your body usually compensates before it breaks down.

BOSX starts with assessment so we can see how you move, identify restrictions, reduce unnecessary stress. And place you in the right training path.

Less random sessions
More structure
More clarity

Follow for movement, injury reduction, and performance

I’ve been building in silence, and proving it in real time. My coaching career spans across multiple sports for over 13 years and in that time BOSX has been built from scratch. In an era of crash diets, peptides, and keyboard warriors… this is what real body recomposition looks like by the numbers. Not just weight loss, but fat loss, tissue retention and regen, movement & performance for athletes, executives and high performers.

I’ll joke with ya , but will never lie to ya

Personally I’m still in the process.. the difference is I know exactly which map to use to get to my destination.

Wouldn’t you want that map for yourself.

High performers don’t wing it - you shouldn’t either.
