These photos; if you can imagine - Houston in 1999.

For 3 wonderful years, Houston was graced with the monstrous CART Champ Cars.

These race cars were an almost eerie modernization of the 1980's F1 turbo-beasts. This was my childhood, and what a treat this was to a young aspiring driver. I was fortunate to attend all 3 Grand Prix.

Results from Fairbury American Legion Speedway with Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints.
Qualifying: 9th
Heat: 5th - 7th
B Main: 3rd - 6th

Started the night out decent with our qualifying run, but just struggled in the heat race and the B Main trying to move forward and make up positions. Onto next Friday back with our 360.
