Camp is suitable for players who had a first experience playing soccer and want to get to the next level. For first time players contact me directly. Based on the weather we will play outside and/or inside (Dickinson Elementary Gym). The camp is designed to work on soccer skills in a fun and challenging environment.

SUGAR LAND Greatwood Soccer Camp
June 12-16 (5 days) - 8:00 am 11:00am
Dickinson Elementary - Turf field
3 age groups: U7-U8, U9-U10, U11-U12

The program include fun and challenging on field soccer activities and off-field games (Soccer trivia, Rules of the game, agility contest). It is aligned with the US SOCCER DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK and the FRENCH FOOTBALL EDUCATION METHODOLOGY to teach players appropriate and age related foundational skills. Age group and activity planning subject to changes depending on group size and weather conditions.

U7-U8: FOUNDATION PHASE I: SCANNING, RECEIVING, DRIBBLING, SHORT PASSING AND SHOOTING
• DAY 1: Players develop scanning skills (ME AND MY SCANNING SKILLS)
• DAY 2: Players develop fundamental movement skills (ME AND MY MOVEMENT SKILLS)
• DAY 3:Players develop fundamental soccer skills with and without the ball (ME AND THE BALL)
• DAY 4: Players are introduced to cooperative, low structured team play (ME AND MY TEAMMATES)
• DAY 5: Mini tournament and challenge competition.

U9-U10: FOUNDATION PHASE II: SCANNING, RECEIVING, DRIBBLING, SHORT COMBINATION PLAY AND FINISHING
• DAY 1:Players develop scanning skills (ME AND MY SCANNING SKILLS)
• DAY 2: Players develop fundamental movement skills (ME AND MY MOVEMENT SKILLS)
• DAY 3: Players continue to develop fundamental soccer skills with and without the ball with pressure (ME AND THE BALL)
• DAY 4: Players develop cooperative play, low structured team play based on a style of play (ME AND MY TEAMMATES)
• DAY 5: Mini tournament and challenge competition.

U11-U12: FOUNDATION PHASE III: SCANNING & POSITIONING, RECEIVING, DRIBBLING, SHORT COMBINATION PLAY AND FINISHING
• DAY 1: Players develop scanning skills (ME AND MY SCANNING SKILLS)
• DAY 2: Players develop fundamental movement skills (ME AND MY MOVEMENT SKILLS)
• DAY 3: Players continue to develop fundamental soccer skills with and without the ball under a moderate level of pressure (ME AND THE BALL)
• DAY 4: Players develop cooperative play, moderate structured team play based on a style of play (ME AND MY TEAMMATES)
• DAY 5: Mini tournament and challenge competition.

Age groups are limited to 12 players. Players need to wear appropriate soccer equipment and bring their soccer ball

⚽️ We are excited to let you know that the Paris Saint-Germain Academy is coming to Houston! The opening of the Academy will start off with official tryouts on May 22nd and 23d. The official tryouts will lead to Summer camps in July and the start of the year round program will begin in August.

Good job Barbara

Albion Hurricanes FC would like congratulate Barbara Olivieri on her call up to U.S Soccer U16 National team training camp in Carson California November 4th - 11th. This is a second call up for Barbie and one that she has worked very hard for. Girls Program Director Daniel Hill said " Over the last two years Barbie has worked very hard, she has trained with boys, played with the 00 ECNL team and worked on her own for countless hours. If any player wants to get to the top they should look at Barbie's work rate during each week and see how much extra she does on her own, a ball is never far from her foot and I have every confidence that Barbie will stick with the team after the camp."

ECNL Director Ben Williams said "Since my time here I have been very impressed with Barbie not only as a player but as a young lady in general. The competitive environment at AHFC is the best I have seen at club level and there is no doubt this has played a huge role in Barbie's development."

AHFC would like to wish Barbie good luck at the up coming camp.
