Honoring one of our own! 🚴‍♂️🎓

Last Saturday, the SWCC family came together for a special farewell ride to celebrate a rider who has been a staple of our paceline for the past three years. He’s heading off to college, and while we’re going to miss seeing him on the weekend roads, we couldn't be prouder!

From taking big pulls to tackling miles together every weekend, it’s been an absolute privilege watching him grow as a cyclist and as part of our club family over the last three years.

Best of luck on this exciting next chapter! You’ll always have a home in the SWCC paceline whenever you’re back in town.

Your support during our Santa’s Sleigh Bike Project helped us donate 200+ shiny new bikes to kids who needed them most.

Bikes mean freedom, adventure, big smiles, and memories that last a lifetime—exactly what the holidays are all about.

2️⃣ Santa’s Sleigh 2025 – We’re SO Close!
For decades, Southwest Cycling Club has teamed up with Katy Christian Ministries (KCM – ktcm.org) to put brand-new bikes under the trees of local kids in need on Christmas morning.
Six years ago our mystery donor who used to fund 200+ bikes stepped away, and YOU — this incredible club — stepped up in a massive way. Because of your generosity and wrench-turning volunteer power, the magic has continued.
Let’s keep those smiles coming.
🎯 Goal: $25,000
💪 Current total: $18,000 (you all are legends!)
We have until November 25 to hit the mark. Every single dollar is tax-deductible and goes 100% to bikes through KCM (they handle all family vetting and delivery — we supply the bikes and the build crew).
