Camp Fusion Summer camp can have a profound impact on a young person’s life. You may be thinking that we only have a few youth, so we can’t go.

Youth ministry research agrees that a week of summer camp is equal to 6 months of spiritual growth. Texas Baptists Intercultural churches and the office of Intercultural Ministries of the BGCT are very busy preparing. Please remember that “we can do more together”. This is why we do camp; no one of our churches can do it alone. So camp is for you and your youth, no matter how small or how large yo

ur youth group. What is Camp Fusion:

• "Camp Fusion" is a week of spiritual and physical challenge of growth in a culturally relevant camping experience for all our Texas Baptist youth who have completed 6-12 grades.
• Camp Fusion aims to intersect students at this crucial time in their faith journey.
• Camp Fusion consists of worship, teaching, recreational activities, topic specific workshops, and evening fellowship.

MEET OUR CAMP FUSION 2026 SPEAKER: PASTOR JOSHUA AGUAS ⭐️

Despite growing up in a Christian home and Christian school, God’s grace didn’t become real to him until his sophomore year of college. He knew all the right things but his heart was never changed.

But God changed his heart his sophomore year at Texas Tech and was introduced to an authentic and diverse Christian community at Texas Tech University that embodied biblical community, rich vulnerability and intense discipleship. Before he graduated TTU in 2013, he discerned a calling for ministry and left his career path to serve the Lord in vocational ministry After serving as a college ministry intern with the Wesley Foundation at TTU for one year, he was accepted into DTS and began his studies in Fall 2014. He graduated in Fall 2018 with a ThM.

His passion in ministry is to train and empower students and young adults to be leaders in all areas of their life. He enjoys cycling, building bikes, smoking brisket, rock climbing, ping pong, collecting Pokemon cards, and listening to audiobooks. He is married to his beautiful wife, Victoria. They have two sons, Ezekiel & Malachi.

Camp Fusion 2026’s theme is READY, SET, GO! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏁

This year, camp will be happening on July 21-25 and we’re so excited to dive into our key verse, Isaiah 6:8:

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.””

“Here am I. Send me!”
Isaiah’s confident cry was shaped by his awe in seeing the beauty and power of the Lord’s presence. As we grow in our own personal walk with the Lord, we also want others to come to know Him as we have. With fire in our hearts like Isaiah, we are ready and willing to go out into the world and change it for His glory.

We can’t wait to see y’all this summer!! Keep an eye out for when registration opens early spring 👀❤️‍🔥
