Proud US Veterans Proud US Veterans The Houston Hurricanes are a club based out of Houston,Texas. Joey Serralta’s reincarnation of the team in USL pro came in 1995.

The original Hurricanes played in 1978 and 79 in NASL folding before a ball was kicked in 1980 season. This time around the team were much more successful with Serralta leading the way forward. As it is soccer in America teams come and go, once again Houston was without the Hurricanes. That was till Brendan Keyes a former player from the 90s team bought the franchise and still runs the team to thi

s day. The Hurricanes didn't play in the 2020/21 season due to covid 19 but plan on making a return in 2022/23 season.
