Last heavy workout 6 days out. Squat and bench opener and just light technique work for deadlift. Seawall Showdown at the Mr Atlas expo, Galveston convention center December 4th.

Peak week went well. Opener deadlift wasn’t what I was hoping for but I learned my technique was off. 2nd attempt squat went phenomenally and 2nd attempt bench got sticky. Right where I need to be for my 500 kilo (1102 #) goal and possibly 3 state records. Openers will qualify for Nationals and 2nd attempts for the World Championship. Time to taper.

4 weeks out from the Seawall Showdown in Galveston Texas. My final strength week was a 990 # total 8. (approximately 92%). Estimated 1070 # in the gym. 913 # qualifies for Nationals and 1041 # qualifies for worlds. 1074 is the state record set by the 2x defending world champion and 1091 ties me for 4th place all time in the USPA. Hoping for the 1100 # club at 165 # body weight but we’ll see how the peak goes.
