Here are some concepts I’ve been exploring. What is the best way to summarize neurogym training? The purpose of it is to restore connection to the person in all senses. Physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Movement is the vehicle.

Why is movement the vehicle? Because fundamentally, the brain was adapted for movement. Movement has a direct pathway to the brain that makes it younger, sharper, and quicker. Viewing training simply as a means to grow muscle or mobility is a myopic view.

Exercise can be very therapeutic. When it’s targeted and personalized, it has the power to transform the person, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. That’s what the NeuroGym is about. Movement as medicine. Movement as building the brain.

Build more freedom through training. Become more connected to your body and the world around you. Become intelligent and adaptable so you can maintain youthful qualities throughout life. Tap into the pharmacy that is exercise so you can feel better, move better, and grow as a person.

Follow if you’re interested in a more holistic form of training that targets both the brain and body.

Another 5 star review 🫶🏻

Liliana was going through major life changes. She was switching careers, moving cities, going through a tough breakup, and even dealing with a very unpredictable life schedule. Within 8 weeks, Liliana’s mental health greatly improved, she got stronger, more flexible, and learned some new techniques and forms of movement that she enjoys. We love to see these types of wins!!

The sauna is a staple in the NeuroGym! Saunas don’t just have a lot of great effects for recovery, it also has mental health and sleep quality benefits. In fact, spending 20 minutes 4x a week can reduce your chances of all cause mortality by 40%(!!)

gets to the root cause of chronic pain. We use a dual approach - biomechanics and neuroscience - to tackle pain. Most physical therapists only work on the physical aspect of rehab, while the NeuroGym also integrates tools to manage pain from a neurological level. Pain is usually not the result of underlying injury and is sometimes totally fabricated in the brain. Taking a brain based approach allows clients to see relief even with just a baseline assessment! How cool is that?

Solutions for chronic pain are one of the most common requests that we get . I am confident as a trainer that I can help you overcome pain whether it be from an injury, getting older, or disease.

DM or comment “PAIN” to figure out the source of your chronic pain and get a solution NOW.

The NeuroGym was a thought in the early months of 2020. Now it’s a concrete business that’s changing the lives of people! Not only did I fulfill my lifelong dream of owning a business, but I was able to create a path and career for myself that never existed before. Scroll through to read my thoughts on this major milestone in my life.

If you have never made a vision board, I highly recommend it. Create one that describes your ideal life and what you want it to include. Put it somewhere where you’ll see it every day. Let your subconscious mind and God work on it with time. Reap the rewards of knowing what you want.

Today turns 1! It’s been an amazing year of passion, purpose, and building. Thank you to every person who has supported this project thus far. Helping my clients with their health goals is innately fulfilling and brings me joy. Your words of encouragement, willingness to believe in me, and investment is not taken for granted and keeps me going and improving.

Year 2 has some exciting things in store. I will launch online training programs for mental health, longevity, and performance. In addition, I will soon start scanning my client’s brain activity to provide more data driven and targeted programs for brain and mental health. Stay tuned because it’s only the beginning!

Growing up, I thought it was part of life for older folks to lose their sense of agency and ability to move with age. I figured genes played a major role and most people would have to rely on a cane, support, or others to do daily tasks.

As I’ve learned about the brain and movement, I realized my beliefs were far from the truth. I’ve seen 65 year olds sprint, do pull ups, move with perfect form, and look strong as hell. I’ve seen people in their 70’s and 80’s be completely autonomous and cognitively with it. The common denominator is training and use.

How do we expect to move well as we age and be independent when our movement quality already SUCKS as adults? People do not move dynamically or athletically for the most part. They’re stiff, rigid, uncoordinated, and usually suffer from pain that limits them. It’s a shame because these are all examples of how modern life causes our physical bodies to decay. And this decay is from a disconnection or a discontinuation of what we used to do as children - move dynamically and athletically.

We don’t use our bodies other than sitting, walking, and standing as adults, and we wonder why our movement sucks when we get older. It’s time to add variation, challenge, and novelty to our exercise routines so we can continue to be independent and functional as we age. This is the goal of the NeuroGym. You can always improve, but your training and inputs need to change.

Exercise is one of the greatest forms of preventative medicine that fails to be prescribed to any and everyone. If you’re not exercising, know that you’re doing yourself a disservice to your long term longevity and functioning.
