Happy Fri-YAY y’all!

I have some news.

I will miss interacting with you here but it is time for me to take some time to get very still and quiet so I can make some big decisions.

Fall 🍁 🍃 in love 😍 with what nourishes you!

So many people are slaves to their taste buds alone, and those little sensors are constantly manipulated by the food industry’s conscious manipulation of the trifecta of addictive palate pleasers: fat, sugar, and salt.

The first truth to accept in transforming your health is that your tastebuds need a complete makeover and must recover from this training in order for you to succeed.

Real food has fantastic flavor, but if you’re eating processed foods, you literally won’t be able to experience it until you detox from the powerful effects of manipulated flavors.

Went to the vanGogh immersive exhibit this week and cried. 😭

I didn’t boo-boo cry, but I had the same reaction to standing in front of his actual painting. Tears and an overfill heart that ached with joy.

I know he’s very popular but I’ve loved his work for forever, from a place in my soul. His paintings just made sense to me. Like that’s what I see when I look at the world kind of feeling.

I get the sensation that his capturing the world was truly about holding onto the magic of it. Not just light and impressions, but so much emotion. That’s how I feel about his work. Emotional.

It evokes the part of me that adores the way the world looks, the stars, the flowers, the land and the inhabitants. The spaces that we find ourselves drawn to and attached to.

This emotions come right off the canvas to me every time. The first time I saw his work in person it was transformative. Prints had intrigued me but the actual canvases.

Reader my eyes are welling up just remembering those moments. Time stood still and collapsed on itself and I knew that I wasn’t alone in the world with this giant love I hold in my heart for Creation.

This experience was a very bright spot in a very sad week. I am so grateful for my husband surprising me for our anniversary with this magical gift.
