Finally back on track!!!
Our first race weekend of the year as a team had its good times and a few minutes of uncertainty and desperation for better words.
All together it was great feeling to finally be at a race track for the entire weekend.
The boys were fast on the MotoAmerica GSXr-750, but JT once again proved to us that he is a natural Yamaha rider.
The things he is able to do on any Yamaha is un explainable.
He was pinning down some amazing lap times during the 5 hour endurance race and was just 4tenths of a second from beating out his brother’s overall fastest lap (until Aiden Sneed got on track).
Unfortunately, a minor team discrepancy contributed to a crash that left him with a broken right collarbone and a few off the clock nap time minutes .
But one thing for sure, JT was back to his old self. It was good to see him stared at us as he flew by lap after lap.
Ivan looked good for his first race weekend back after 8 long months out for school.
Got him a podium on his first race back!!
He then decided to fight the 1 thousands with his restricted 750 and finished 8th. Not bad for the amount of under power.
Huge Thank you to everyone involved in waking up JT from his on track nap time, you guys did an amazing job.
CMRA family is the greatest, the support is always there.
Would like to sent our condolences to the family of Michael Snider, who unfortunately passed duting the race weekend of natural causes.
