The major significance of this is the fact that he lives in Baytown and will be coaching travel ball for at least the next 6 years until his son graduates!!

Graduated from Robert E. Lee High school - 3 year all district letterman all state senior year
TCU baseball scholarship all southwest conference drafted by the New York Mets junior year. Signed senior year when drafted by the Chicago Cubs
Played 5 years made AA Allstar team in Midland and finished the last 2 years in AAA in Des Moines.
After baseball played 6 years of fast pitch softball on the number 1 ranked team in the state of Texas. National Champions in 1989 and was selected MVP
Inducted into the Fast Pitch Hall of Fame.
Over 30 years of coaching experience from several City Championships in Little League and Pony League to a 2007 NABF Select Senior Division World Series National Champions.
Coached Select baseball from ages 9 -18 for many years with several players that went on to college and professional baseball.
