It’s been a while since we updated, but I wanted to share that so far this spring has been an amazing testament to these girls hard work the past serval months.
The last few tournaments have shown the grit and determination to push through adversity and succeed. They have battled injuries and sickness and still find ways to win.
This past weekend they made it in to the top Diamond bracket, playing up in their first 14u tournament.
Then went undefeated in Bracket play to take home the championship.
Every kid and parent have been great and are trusting the process and adapting to the changes on the fly.
It’s not about where the girls start, it’s about where they finish. It’s not about the playing time, it’s about the learning time. Are they learning and growing?
I can’t wait to sit back and watch them all play in high school and hopefully the next level after that in just a couple short years.
For now, we will keep learning and growing…both players and coaches. We still have a lot to learn and long way to go.
Winning a ring doesn’t mean much…but it does show that these girls are working hard to get better.
Let’s keep at it kiddos!
