IG Polk played in a Showcase in Brenham this past weekend and all 5, 2026s and 1 2027 on the team had College coaches contact them to setup visits. It was a great weekend for recruiting and congrats to those athletes that gained interests from numerous collegiate coaches.

Been working hard to get schools to commit to come see my girls within the IG Polk family in the Summer of 2025. Good time to become a part of the Family. Currently have a pretty big list of school from the NAIA level, to Juco, all the way up to the NCAA D1 levels.

Isabella Battaglia(2024) has committed to playing at Louisiana Christian University. Isabella is a very athletic 3rd baseman, hard worker that is very versatile, and a gap to gap hitter.

LCU is a perfect place for Isabella due to her wanting to go into nursing. The coaching staff allows her to balance education and softball.

Congrats to Isabella Battaglia and family.
Louisiana Christian is getting a good one.
