Does your family, your kids, LOVE football? LOVE cheerleading??

Ours do! But our kids are growing up :(. They are getting older, bigger, stronger, tougher, better athletes... OK enough about our great kids LOL, the point to my post is we NEED parents of our younger kids to step up. We need to bring in a new generation of board members to continue to grow this youth program and support our future HS athletes.

We currently have an open Trustee position and a few positions that will open up soon. We also need new and incoming coaches for the K-2 football and cheer teams.

This program has been on an upward trajectory since 2021 and it's been amazing. Increasing in numbers from 100 kids a year to well over 200. We don't want to lose that momentum! We were one of only 3 schools (out of 13 programs) that could produce enough girls to support an all-girls flag football team last year- and this year we will likely have TWO!

But we can't do it without volunteers, board members, coaches, and community support. WE NEED PARENTS TO STEP IN and come to the table this year and in the next couple years to transition a new batch of outstanding High School athletes.

Reminder 5/6 tackle game times have been adjusted for tomorrow due to schedule conflicts at Western.

Coach Sloans team will be starting at 1:45 PM tomorrow and Coach Millers team will be playing at 3:15 PM.

Its almost Comet Bowl time!!

Just a few reminders for tomorrows K-2 game under the lights.
*Fans stay in the stands please
*$1 suggested donation at the door for entry
*We still have $10 money raffle tickets (first prize $500 and will be drawn that night!)
*No concession stands BUT we will have the Just Dranks Latte Trailer there with food and beverages

SO DONT FORGET TO BRING CASH! So you can get in on all these cool things! :)

Hello, everyone! This Sunday, October 5th, the HHYFL will be hosting the 3/4 grade flag football games for our conference. These games will be held at the high school football field and we’re in need of volunteers to help make it a success! Our 5/6 Tackle Teams will be getting the incredible opportunity to play at the Big House this year! Also, there will be an opportunity for our cheerleaders to attend as well. Please get with your coach for details.

Its Homecoming Week!
We will be having floats for the youth football and cheer teams this year, during the parade.

Line up will begin at 4:30 PM on Friday at Heritage Park with the parade starting at 5:00 PM.

Please bring candy to pass out if you are interested!! Reminder to kids to throw it lightly.

Today, the HHYFL hosted 5/6th grade tackle games at our home field for the Cascades Area Youth Football League. It was a great day of exciting and fun football. A lot of effort was put into making this day a success and we want to give a very special shoutout to our board and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, our super awesome group of parent and child volunteers who made the day a great one! A lot of work was put in behind the scenes to make it as great as it was and we want you all to know how appreciative we are of all your time and effort. For those who stepped up and helped out, we’re beyond grateful. 😍. GO COMETS!! ☄️
