Both Horatio Cheer squads attended camp at ASU in Jonesboro a couple weeks ago winning several awards!

I cannot say enough good things about these girls. We showed up with the two smallest teams and BOTH teams brought home awards.

When I say the competition was fierce, I am talking about many of the other teams having upwards of 25 athletes. We held our own, and showed the whole camp what HEART looks like.

Here is a list of awards we won.

Sr High: Small Varsity Division
-camp routine championship 2nd place
-gameday overall 3rd place
-blue ribbon sideline/cheer
-blue ribbon camp routine

Jr High: JH Division
-Most Improved
-game day overall 4th place
-camp routine championship 5th place
-blue ribbon sideline/cheer
-blue ribbon camp routine

We also had 5 girls make All American. Congratulations to Alissa, Bella, Presley, Addy and Kambree.

Last year, we were only given participation trophies. This year was so different from last year, and it felt different from the moment we arrived. The girls have a confidence in themselves and their team that was missing last year.

Today the Jr High and Sr High Lions cheer squads attended stunt camp in Hot Springs.
