No matter where you look, the 1600 Single Buggy class is packed with action.

Out front, Connor Schulz continues to lead the charge. He picked up his third podium of the season with a third place run on Saturday, then battled up front again Sunday. A wild moment with a tractor tire kept him off the podium, but he still salvaged a solid sixth place finish.

Just five points back, teammate Taylor Roloff is right in the hunt. Roloff narrowly missed the podium Saturday with a fourth place finish, then came back strong Sunday to secure a hard fought second.

Now up to third in points and only 14 back, Donald Writesel is gaining momentum. He earned his first podium of the season Saturday with a second, then backed it up Sunday by charging through the field for his first career 1600 Single Buggy win.

Defending champ Michael Seefeldt sits 17 points back after a rollercoaster weekend. He grabbed his first win of the season Saturday, but ran into trouble Sunday and finished inside the top ten.

Rounding out the top five is Jake Schilleman, 23 points back. He just missed the podium Saturday with a fourth, then bounced back Sunday to grab his first podium of the season with a third.

Crandon is up next, and this points battle is just getting started.

Got it up to 4th from 10th yesterday.
Leading the race today and had a failure with the steering rack but still got it across the finish line.
Leaving Wheatland with valuable points and minimal work to do before rounds 3-4.
