🏁 Race Recap – speedway 🏁

We headed into Saturday with a lot of hope after a strong run the weekend before. With all the rain the track received, the crews worked hard all night battling a wet racing surface, making for some tough racing conditions.

It was a double feature, double points night, so both NC_Heartbreaker #5 Allie Jo Culbertson and Ethan were excited to hit the track.

Unfortunately, Feature 1 ended early for Allie after getting caught up in an accident that sent her into the wall. Thankfully, she walked away okay, but the car took quite a beating and her night was over.

Ethan fought through the challenging conditions and brought home an 11th-place finish in Feature 1 and another 11th-place finish in Feature 2.

It definitely wasn’t the night we were hoping for, but that’s racing. Some nights you celebrate, and some nights you head back to the shop with a long to-do list. We’re thankful for safety, grateful for our sponsors, and ready to get to work preparing for the next one.

Saturday night didn't go exactly as planned. But overall happy with a safe night out at the track.
Allie's Jr. Sprint: Qualified 3rd ended up finishing 5th. The motor just wasn't giving speed.
Ethan's Wing co Legend: Qualified 8th, wrecked in the 2nd heat race. And came back in the main with a 7th place finish.
Allie's Bubba's 33 car: Qualified 9th, 3rd in her heat race. And after spinning out a few times ended with a 11th place finish.
We came to the conclusion that running a different track the last weekend, might have messed with them a little. But we will pull it together for the next one. 🤘

What a night at the track! 🏁 Lake View Motor Speedway

We had a really strong night, and we couldn’t be more proud of both of our drivers.

Allie came out flying in her Jr. Sprint, battling hard for the lead with Brayden lap after lap. It was such a fun race to watch, and she brought it home with a 2nd place finish in the feature.
Huge congratulations to Brayden. Great driving, buddy. That was one heck of a race!

As for the Legend cars, both Ethan and Allie have really been stepping it up. Rookie season has come with its challenges, but the growth we’re seeing week after week is something special. Their determination to learn and improve is paying off.

Ethan fought his way to a 3rd place finish in the feature, and Allie followed up with a strong 6th place finish against a field full of talented drivers. We are incredibly proud of both of them.

Every lap, every race, they’re learning, growing, and getting better and we’re so excited to see where this journey takes them.
