🐾 OFF THE MAT AT THE NYS FAIR! 🐴❤️

Not all of our wrestlers were at the Great New York State Fair this weekend to wrestle!

Emmeline Heer was there chasing a different goal; riding at the NYS Fair with her horse, Zinc! After setting that goal for herself this year, she made it happen, competing in both the Dressage and Hunt Seat Divisions while proudly representing Rensselaer County 4-H.

We love seeing our wrestlers work toward goals both on AND off the mat and even better when we get to celebrate them achieving them!

Congratulations, Emmeline & Zinc! And she’s not done yet… the driving division is up next!

🤼 OFF-SEASON WORK AT THE STATE FAIR! 🎡

Brothers Sam and Scott Bailey were at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse this weekend, putting in the work on the mat and having some fun along the way!

We love seeing our Tamarac wrestlers continuing to train, compete and get better during the off-season. 🐾

Big shoutout to Blake Patrick for completing the Young Guns Elite Wrestling Camp in Pennsylvania!

Blake spent the week training alongside some of the nation’s best, including Jax Forrest, while learning from elite wrestlers and coaches. Opportunities like these are where hard work meets growth.

Keep putting in the work, Blake. The season can’t come soon enough!

Team New York’s 𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓽𝓽 𝓑𝓪𝓲𝓵𝓮𝔂
and 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓴 put together solid freestyle performances at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, proving they can compete with the nation’s best.

💥𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓽𝓽 𝓑𝓪𝓲𝓵𝓮𝔂 (190 lbs) put together an impressive freestyle run, recording two pins, including a blistering 50-second fall over Alabama’s Grayson Scott.

💥 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓴 (144 lbs) opened his Fargo tournament with a championship-side victory, proving he could compete with the nation’s best before running into Missouri’s Jacob Vanderiet in one of the tournament’s toughest brackets.

Now, the focus shifts to Greco-Roman, where both wrestlers will look to build on their momentum and make more noise on the national stage.

Good luck to 𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓽𝓽 𝓑𝓪𝓲𝓵𝓮𝔂 and 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓴 as they represent 𝕋𝕖𝕒𝕞 ℕ𝕖𝕨 𝕐𝕠𝕣𝕜 and Tamarac Wrestling at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota! 🇺🇸🤼

🔥 𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓽𝓽 𝓑𝓪𝓲𝓵𝓮𝔂 will battle in the 16U Boys Freestyle 190 lb division and enters the tournament ranked in the nation by PIN ratings!

🔥 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓟𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓴 takes on the 16U Boys Freestyle 144 lb division after earning his spot with an outstanding 2nd-place finish in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman at the regional qualifiers.

Competition begins TODAY and continues through Sunday, with thousands of the nation’s best wrestlers chasing Fargo All-American honors.

Congratulations, Eddie!

Yesterday, we proudly awarded the first-ever Jeff Pasinello Scholarship to Tamarac senior wrestler Eddie Miller.

Jeff was more than a wrestler and supporter of our program. He was one of our Tamarac Junior Bengal coaches who helped shaped many of our young athletes in our wrestling family.

This year, our community came together to honor Jeff’s legacy by hosting the inaugural Jeff Pasinello Freestyle & Greco Tournament. Thanks to the incredible support of our wrestlers, Curby Training Center, Tamarac Friends of Wrestling, families, coaches, clubs, volunteers, sponsors, and donors, we were able to fund and award this scholarship for the very first time.

Congratulations to Eddie Miller, a wrestler who exemplifies the hard work, resilience, leadership, and character that Jeff valued so deeply.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this scholarship possible. Together, we are ensuring that Jeff’s impact on the Tamarac and Junior Bengals wrestling communities will continue for years to come. ❤️🤼‍♂️
