We got out on the in the north shore today and landed two absolute giants! 44” and 47”, a new personal best! The bite was brutal in all deep and typical summer spots, but getting locked tight to structure in a ripping current was the game-changer, and it wouldn't have been possible without the Minn Kota Instinct holding us pinned in place. So many anglers overlook a spot lock trolling motor as an essential tool on the salt, but having total control in heavy water is what turns a tough day into an epic one. Upgrading your boat with gear that actually holds up to harsh marine conditions isn't just nice to have—it's how you put trophy fish in the boat!

Steve recently tackled the BASS Nation Event on Lake Champlain, taking on a stacked field of 180 anglers. After a tough Day 1, he put together a strong Day 2 rebound to battle back and finish 27th overall!
