Sparks Basketball Maui's vision is to become the premiere basketball club on Maui. Effort – Improvement comes from fully employing oneself to a given task.

Mission:
The mission of the Sparks Basketball Maui is to add value to the community of Maui through quality basketball instruction with an emphasis on Team Play and fundamentals. Intense practices will increase individual skills, athleticism and draw out the potential in each player. The youth of Maui will be prepared to play at the next level and succeed in life beyond basketball. Vision:
The Sp

arks Vision is to become the premiere basketball club on Maui, recognized throughout the basketball community as a club that produces athletes ready to compete at the appropriate level with high moral character. Sparks will exude confidence on and off the court, and will build up those around them. Our Core Values:
The following core values are the foundation we start from:
1. We encourage players to push their limits every moment while on the court, and we expect this attitude to spill over into other aspects of their lives.

2. Education – Basketball is a thinking game and we expect players to develop their mental aptitude in addition to their physical game. Playing at the next level means making grades to make the team.

3. Enthusiasm – We expect our players to exude enthusiasm for the game, for their improvement and for their teammates.

4. Ethics – Our athletes are taught to use words of encouragement to build others up. Our athletes are taught to respect themselves, teammates, opponents, coaches, referees and rules. This attitude is expected beyond the court as well.

5. Excellence – By continually pursuing and reinforcing these values, we are striving for excellence, both on and off the court.

6. Ethos – Our culture is defined by a Team Concept. Respecting, having confidence in and believing in your teammates both on and off the court. This Team philosophy will develop our players to the Leaders of Schools, communities and businesses of tomorrow.
