Earlier this week, the Ridge View Boys Wrestling Team traveled to Fort Dodge for the 2026 Iron Sharpens Iron Team Wrestling Camp on the campus of Iowa Central. Attending the camp for the first time, the Raptors spent four days and three nights wrestling duals, competing in team olympics, and learning technique from elite-level clinicians. The boys wrestled teams from Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Idaho, and Louisiana. Through wins and losses, the team created valuable memories and kick-started a productive off-season!

Featured clinicians included:
⭐️ Gabe Arnold - All-American, University of Iowa
⭐️ Max McEnelly - National Champion, University of Minnesota
⭐️ Sergio Vega - National Champion, Oklahoma State University
⭐️ Landon Williams - 2x National Champion, Wartburg College

A massive thank you goes out to the Ridge View Athletic Booster Club for supporting the team and making this experience possible for our wrestlers. Also, shoutout to Ssg-Keegan Svendsen of the Iowa Army National Guard for generously allowing the team to use their facilities throughout the camp. We are proud of our community connections and look forward to seeing how this experience supports the upcoming season!

WRESTLING MATS FOR SALE: $50/circle or $100/3 circles

10 black and gold S-C circles and a few extra piece mats are available. Mats were previously used as a sub-mat in the high school wrestling room in Holstein. Perfect for a garage or basement setup.

Will be sold in “as is” condition.

Yesterday, Ridge View wrestlers Gabe Van Houten and Levi Else finished runner-up at the 2026 Black Hills Nationals! Both earned All-American honors, facing some of the toughest competition the Midwest has to offer. Congratulations, boys!

Last weekend, the Ridge View Boys Wrestling program came together to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of the 2025–2026 wrestling season. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the hard work put in by our athletes, coaches, and supporters, both on and off the mat.
