What if you’re not abandoned… just distracted?
In this Meditation Walk clip, I explore the illusion of separation — and how easily we run from Presence into distraction.
When life feels empty, unstable, or painful, we often assume God has withdrawn.
But spiritual reality says otherwise:
He is here.
He is now.
He has not left.
Sometimes we wander.
Sometimes we chase comfort.
Sometimes we numb the tension through distraction — food, pleasure, entertainment, substances, productivity, noise.
We try to silence what feels like chaos.
But much of what we are running from is shadow — not substance.
Like Don Quixote fighting windmills, we exhaust ourselves battling illusion.
Spiritual awakening is not frantic effort.
It is stillness.
“Be still and know.”
When awareness quiets, Presence becomes evident.
Peace reveals itself as inherent — not imported.
Power reveals itself as singular — not competing.
All other “powers” operate like the moon:
Borrowed light. Reflected light. Not source.
There is only one true Source.
And that Presence is not distant.
This reflection explores:
• Spiritual distraction vs divine absence
• The prodigal metaphor and consciousness
• Borrowed power vs true Source
• Stillness and spiritual awareness
• Metaphysical Christianity
• Illusion vs reality
• Presence as peace
