This is another opportunity for our players to compete against strong talent, represent the program with pride, and show the toughness, discipline, and teamwork that define Hopson Elite.

Today, we celebrate freedom, unity, opportunity, and the power of community.

At Hopson Elite, we believe basketball is bigger than the game. It’s about developing young people, creating opportunities, building relationships, and preparing the next generation to win on the court, in the classroom, and in life.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we are grateful for our players, coaches, parents, alumni, supporters, and everyone who continues to believe in the mission of Beyond Basketball.

Enjoy the holiday. Stay safe. Spend time with family and friends. And remember, the work continues, the dream remains alive, and the future belongs to those willing to work for it.

Today, members of the Hopson Elite family are continuing to make their mark throughout the basketball world.

🏀 Sed Harris: Former High School Head Coach to Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, Bluffton University

🏀 Cameron Awls: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, Defiance College and member of Trine University's 2024 NCAA Division III National Championship team

🏀 Terry J Awls: General Manager, Glass City Wranglers Professional Basketball Club

🏀 Dennis Hopson: Founder of Hopson Elite Basketball Club, NBA Champion, Ohio State Basketball Legend, and former Head Coach at Florida Polytechnic University

What began as a vision to develop players has grown into a network of leaders impacting the game at the collegiate and professional levels.

From college sidelines to professional front offices, the Hopson Elite influence continues to expand, proving that the mission has always been bigger than basketball.
