Week One is here, and we’re ready to get after it!

Junior Varsity kicks things off Monday night at 6:00 PM on the road at St. Johnsbury Academy, followed by Varsity opening the season at home on Saturday at 1:00 PM against Hartford.

A huge THANK YOU to our friends, families, fans, and community for your incredible support of the 2026 CVU Football Lift-A-Thon!

We’re proud to have been one of the first programs to introduce this effort, and even prouder that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly back into the CVU Football program and our student-athletes.

And the boys showed their appreciation for your support the best way they know how — by putting in the work. After reaching our goal, they came together and completed OVER 700 EXTRA DEADLIFTS! 💪🔥

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, supported, and believed in our program. Your support allows us to continue investing in our student-athletes and building something special together.

🏈💪 THE LAST PUSH — CVU FOOTBALL LIFT-A-THON! 💪🏈

Tomorrow at 10:00 AM, our CVU Football student-athletes come together AS A TEAM for our 4th Annual Lift-A-Thon!

Each athlete will take on the bench press and deadlift, with the goal of earning 50+ total reps while raising money for our program.

There’s still time to SUPPORT OUR CAUSE! Every donation makes a difference, and 100% of the proceeds go directly back into CVU Football to provide equipment, training opportunities, uniforms, and resources for our student-athletes.

Tomorrow, Varsity and Junior Varsity are headed down south yet again for Preseason Scrimmage #2! 🏈 The Redhawks hit the field in Fair Haven at 5:00 PM for another opportunity to compete and get better, taking on Middlebury, Otter Valley, and Fair Haven.

The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks Football team is excited to kick off our 4th Annual Lift-A-Thon, one of our biggest fundraising events of the year!

Each student-athlete will put in the work by completing bench press and deadlift repetitions for maximum reps. We're looking for family, friends, businesses, and community members to support our players by either:

🏋️ Pledging an amount per rep, or
❤️ Making a one-time donation.

100% of the proceeds directly support the CVU Football program by helping provide equipment, training opportunities, and resources that benefit every student-athlete.
