‼️ TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY ‼️
We often talk about the physical aspects when it comes to our transformation in our fitness journey. Not enough about the mental aspects… not only am I proud of myself for changing the things I was insecure about physically, I’ve also did a lot of growing, healing, overcoming, relearning, unlearning & reprogramming and for that I am extremely proud!
LEFT PIC: 5-6 years ago I WAS OUTSIDE, in the clubs, at all parties and places and had a lot of hurt I was holding on to. I was holding a lot of past experiences past trauma and PTSD from past incidents. I was truly battling two different sides of myself, one side of me KNEW he wanted to change, knew he had to make a difference in the world but was fighting that gut feeling, running from my responsibilities & dodging GODS Work. Other side of me didn’t know how to or where to go next to make those changes come true! My mindset wasn’t focused on growth, it was focused on surviving.
RIGHT PIC: last week, and this photo is after a lot of self reflection, inner work, moving states, grieving and growing & a lot of time in the gym!
TODAY I have to say, fitness has changed my life for the better! I’ve spent a lot of time working on my image, my physique & my mental! I have found that it has brought my focus to the key points of growth and the life that I want to live - that comes from being disciplined to go to the gym 5/7 days of the week, structured to get my non-negotiables done, and balanced to take care of myself and my loved ones. I am now in a position to help others in a way that I would have needed for myself. I truly feel that I found my purpose and am so grateful to see the impact that I have on the lives I come into contact with.
