If you drove past Rebel Memorial Field today, you probably noticed a buzz of activity as the Highland School District hosted the 2026 Shelter Showdown 7-on-7 Tournament!

Thanks to the support of our incredible sponsors, today's event was a tremendous success. We welcomed nearly 400 student-athletes and more than 70 coaches from across Arkansas and Missouri for a full day of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

🏈 Highland's First-Ever Flag Football Program is Here! 🏈

We're excited to announce the launch of Highland's first flag football program for students entering Kindergarten through 2nd Grade!

📅 Registration is open now through June 26.
💲 Cost is $20 per player and is payable by cash or check on the first night of practice.

Games will be played on Tuesday evenings, with the possibility of Thursday games depending on registration numbers.

To register, please complete the Google Form linked below.

Practice and game schedules have not been finalized at this time. Families of students who register by the deadline will be contacted with additional information regarding practice dates, game schedules, and other program details.

Lots of football action is coming to Rebel Memorial Field next week as Highland hosts the Shelter Showdown on Tuesday, June 2.

Admission is free, so stop by throughout the day and catch some exciting 7-on-7 football featuring teams from across Arkansas and southern Missouri. It will be a great day of competition and summer football action at Rebel Memorial Field. 🏈
