We made the cut for one of the biggest races in the midwest.

If you or your business are interested in coming on board with us for this race and the rest of the 2024 season we will be offering different stages of sponsorship for marketing advertisement. This is one of the biggest races of the year as far as publicity goes.

MARS Modified Entry List Revealed for the Inaugural Illinois Dirt Shootout

FAIRBURY, IL (January 4, 2024) MARS Dirt Series and Fairbury Speedway officials are excited to unveil the list of entries for the Inaugural Illinois Dirt Shootout to be held May 23-25. After only 3 days of entries being received, 209 total entrants have registered for the MARS Modified portion of the event. As promised, the first 150 entries received were placed into the event. Officials are also excited to announce that due to the volume of entries, and additional planning measures in place for parking, that the event will now feature a staggering 180-car field of MARS Modified competitors.

*SPECIAL NOTE: The remaining drivers that have entered and are not on this list have been transferred to the waiting list. You will be notified if/when you are added to the list of 180 if/when we begin receiving drivers withdrawing from the event.*

*Drivers in the field of 180 have until April 1 to withdraw from the event to receive a refund.*

*If you have not entered and are interested in racing this event, please register at fairburyspeedway.com to be added to the waitlist.*

Well, we haven't updated everyone in a bit so let's just say we have had some good runs and some bad luck.
We are going to take a couple weeks off and regroup after a fellow racer made a bad choice and ran through us Saturday night. We will be back good as new!

Night #8 recap. With heating/radiator issues last week we decided to stay close to home. Went to Highland Speedway. After a great pill draw we started the heat P7. Track was very heavy but worked up to P4. The redraw put us P6 for the feature. Car was good. Ended up P3 and won the harder charger award.

Night 7 of the season Speedway for Summer Nationals. 31 cars. Will qualify second group. Good field of cars tonight. Should be interesting.
