Stone drove straight from P3 to the front with a huge lead but unfortunately caught a lane penalty on a restart bumping him back to 3rd. Meanwhile, Rhett moved his way up from P5 to clutch the heat win AND the pole position for the feature race tomorrow. To make a great day even better, Pepaw was able to swing by and see the race. This has been the experience of a lifetime for these boys!

Richmond, here we come! 🏁

Stone & Rhett are taking on the NASCAR Youth Series National Race in Richmond, Virginia!

They’ve worked hard, logged a lot of laps, and learned a ton already this season. Now it’s time to see what they can do on the national stage. We’re excited for the competition, the experience, and another opportunity for these two to keep growing behind the wheel.

Stone drove to Victory Lane after qualifying 3rd today to clutch another W NC Quarter Midget Association ! Making today even more special was our great friends Heritage Water Systems, Inc. came out to see the action first hand. We are so thankful for their support and encouragement and Stone was so proud to put their name in the winners circle! Rhett had the fastest lap of the class today (thank you Chris Yonchuk and Hayworth) and was SO close to bringing home a great finish as well, but made contact and sent to the back of the pack late in the race. The Petty boys are seeing that hard work, practice, and consistency pays off and it is so incredible watching them work so hard at this! We couldn’t do any of this without all of our incredible village 🤍🏁

3rd place finishes from the last two races deserve a spot on the feed because racing isn’t always holding the checkered flag. The past few weeks have humbled these boys after coming out of the gates hot in the rookie class. Tonight, they both drove AMAZING, we finally found the speed we needed, and they made strategic decisions every single lap. Stone ended up on the podium tonight and unfortunately, Rhett ended up at the back after making his way to the front after a 3rd place start. There were some tears tonight because we all know what it’s like being *so close*. Our good friend Austin Craven told the boys a story a few weeks ago about a kid he knows who is running in the big leagues now - and that what made him so great, was that as he was coming up, he wasn’t in victory lane every week- he had to work harder than everyone else, make smart decisions, and stick with it when it was difficult. Onward and upward!

Summer Series race #3 was yet another 1-2 finish for the Petty Boys with Rhett making a clean, last lap pass on Stone to clutch the W. Stone’s post race response was “he came outta nowhere!” Stone also got to pickup his first win trophy from his Champion Series win last week. The best part however, was more friends coming out to watch the boys do their thing. Chris Hopper Kristy Labonte Garrett thanks for making the time to come out 💙
