What a weekend, always looking for that first seat Saturday Pool Games. Couple broken bats 😮‍💨 Went to war vs Drillers - fell short in extras. One game at a time - 2Peat Champions was the game plan, at the end of the day what matters the most was the unit had fun/free injury weekend 🙏🏽 & left it all out on the field ✍🏼🔥

Congrats to the HotDogs for taking another 🏆 back to the RGV!!!

"Daddy Ball," they call it.

When a dad coaches their kid's team for the sole purpose of giving them the starting position, regardless of talent or effort. They overlook other kids, play favorites, and politics come to play way more than baseball. Their projections are reflections of their own missed dreams.

I know this kind of Daddy Ball is out there, I do. But can we please stop making that a blanket label every time a dad coaches?

Because sometimes (dare I say more often?) a dad steps up to coach because:

-He has a passion for the game

-He loves spending the time with his kids making priceless memories

-He has the goal of building a solid program up from the Little League years through high school

-He knows the game and has a true knack for coaching

-He wants to make a difference in the lives of youth in his community

-He genuinely CARES—about his kid, sure, but about yours, too

They focus on developing the team as a whole. They celebrate ALL of their players' successes. And they deserve so much appreciation for the time and effort they put into this calling.

A good coach is a good coach, period. Dad or not.

💥💥💥 7U 2025 UNDEFEATED ASTROFEST WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!! 🏆 💥💥💥

What a weekend, what a season!!! Players played with HEART! 4-0 Pool Play,, struggled in bracket managing to punch in to the ship. One game at a time was the game plan - keep pushing, all we asked for was 100%! It was their weekend, they deserve it!!! ✍🏼

I want to thank all my coaching staff, parents, relatives/friends supporting us from back home 🙏🏽 One more time,, say it louder for the ones in the back - WHO ARE WE!? 🔊
