One of the simplest and smartest things I ever did?
š Got myself some smaller plates to eat from.
Sounds silly, but it works. My eyes used to think I needed a full 10" dinner plate of food⦠now theyāre happy with a full 7" and my stomach isnāt mad about it either.
Let me be real with you:
Thereās no magic pill. No miracle diet. No unicorn-approved weight loss secret. š¦ā
Our bodies need carbs.
They need protein.
They need healthy fats, grains, fruits, veggies, and yesāeven dairy (unless youāre allergic, of courseāthen please donāt).
Itās all about balance and portion controlānot punishment.
You donāt have to give up everything you love. You just have to stop eating like your plate is the size of Texas. š
