The Venom Stars organization would like to welcome Brooklyn Walsh to the family. Brooklyn is a 2029 from Wilkes Central High School where she is the team captain and coming off an all conference freshman season! She is a true utility player being able to play all 9 positions and play them all at a high level! Welcome Brooklyn and family!

The Venom girls were back in action this weekend at the PGF East Coast Fireworks Showcase Tournament in Rock Hill. Lots of great softball played. The girls finished second in their division. The girls bats were on fire this weekend with Faith Hagaman (2027) and Hadley Shuler (2028) leading the team in hits. While Makenzie Powell (2028) and Brooklyn Walsh (2029) leading the team in RBIs. Many great plays were made with on defense to back up their pitchers, Faith Hagaman, Makenzie Powell, Brooklyn Walsh, and Hayley Dean (2029) who all controlled the circle. The girls will be back at it in Rock Hill for the Carolina Cardinals Classic on July 11 & 12!

For the week of Feb. 23-27, we are proud to recognize Lady Warrior Softball player, Zoe Dillard! During the week, Zoe had 3 hits, 4 RBIs, 8 innings pitched, and 2 wins as pitcher! Great job, Zoe!!

For the week of March 9-13, we are proud to recognize TWO great performances! Lady Warrior Softball player, Danica Benge, had 5 - Hits, 4 - Walks, 6 Runs, 2 RBIs for the week! Congratulations, Danica!!
