Showed Speed in SoBo 🏁

Parker Eatmon capped off the CARS Tour season with a front row start, qualifying 2nd at a 14.98! We showed strong speed early and ran inside the top 3 during the early stages of the race. After restarting on the front row before halfway, we just got too freer and faded a bit late, finishing 8th on the night!

In only his second late model stock start, Ty Fredrickson stormed through the field from 24th to 12th, passing the most cars on the night as the fields hard charger! Our qualifying balance was a little tight and put us behind early, but Ty showed his poise and capped off the night 12th in his first trip to South Boston!

Johnny Kaminskey made his oval debut on Friday night at Hickory Motor Speedway in impressive fashion.

Johnny was fastest in second practice & qualified a solid 7th positioning himself inside the top 10 for the race.

After running inside the top 10 early, JK rallied from the rear after spin and contact with another car to secure a P9 finish in his first career late model start! 🏁

Gavin Gleitsman made his oval debut on Friday night, qualifying in the 2nd position and quickly asserting himself as a force inside the Top 3 early in the race!

Matt Piercy Racing is excited to welcome 16-year-old Gavin Gleitsman to the team as he makes his oval track debut behind the wheel in the #7 Limited Late Model! 🏁

Gavin comes with some serious road racing experience to the table - with a full season of TA2 competition in the Trans Am Series, along with experience in Spec Miata’s and karting.

NEWPORT RECAP 🏁

Parker Eatmon and the Matt Piercy Racing team put in a solid nights work in the hills of East Tennessee! Parker had top 5 speed in practice, qualified 11th and worked his way up into the Top 5 inside of 30 to go! After being bit too loose all night we faded a bit late and came home with a 6th place effort in the CARS Tour’s inaugural trip to Newport!

Ready for the finale in two weeks at South Boston💪🏼
