In a van down by the river hauling ass to ride some high water Cheoah on our first commercial trip of the year. Minister of Logistics and I are kicking it in the back with the plastique.

Braving the cold got a couple firsts in with me this weekend. 1st time in a drysuit. 1st time R2ing with me. 1st time rafting with . 1st time on Big Laurel and French Broad. But possibly last time wearing twins drysuits. A big thanks to Brad Scott and for the IR gear!

From a decade ago. Still running creeks and chasing the fun.

R-2 creeking is essentially what raft guides do on their day off. They borrow a small two-person raft from their bosses and push it, scrape it, and paddle like hell through tight rain-dependent creeks in the mountains.
