New Illinois FOID card tax proposed.

A new tax on Illinois legal fi****ms owners may soon become a reality.

The tax comes in the form of a new “insurance requirement“ for individuals who apply for, or renew an Illinois Fi****ms owner identification card. 

This past spring, Illinois Democrats introduced HB43. The law would create a new task force, appointed by JB Pritzker, to study whether or not the Illinois should create new regulations  that will require law abiding Illinois fi****ms owners to buy state run insurance as a condition of applying for a FOID Card.

The legislation is sponsored by Democrats Rep. Bob Morgan, Laura "plastic bag tax" Faver Dias and Yolonda Morris.

The latest on the bill: at the end of the spring legislative session, May 31, the Bill did not get called up for a vote - a however, in November, after the election, during the fall Veto session, it is quite likely that the bill will resurface and be approved before the end of the year.

The bill is strictly a revenue generator for the state. It is intended to create extra fees, which law abiding firearm odors would have to pay. Criminals, of course, will not pay this new fee for state mandated FOID card insurance.
The revenue generated is expected to be sent directly to the City of Chicago. 

Three things to keep in mind:

-Criminals won’t buy insurance.
-Criminals don’t apply for FOIDs.
-Criminals won’t follow any of this.

One aspect of training is dry fire training. In my classes I offer, everyone really enjoys this part. I have several different systems for dry fire training. Strikeman and Mantisx are really good systems.

Mantisx is my favorite it has a easy app to use with all there systems. Mantis 2x and 3x is for pew pew with a rail on the front and you use your own pew pew. Mantis 10x can be used on long pew pew and hand pew pew. Both are great and the app has many different games and drills to keep you sharp.

Mantisx just came out with the Titanx same concept except its in the shape of a glok. This was sent to me to demo in my class and i see it as a great option. And as we all know perfect practice make perfect.

So if your looking for a dry fire system I recommend Mantisx as your first spot to start shopping. Great father's day gift.

Well i have always wondered if the material inside a purse would stop a pew pew from firing. You can't brandishing a weapon but if you have to fire through a purse you can.
