There’s no easy way to say this: 2026 has been rough 😟

The unrest in the U.S. and around the world continues to break my heart. I know many of us who’ve spent years trying to positively impact our communities are feeling exhausted, discouraged, and unsure whether what we do still makes a difference.

When I feel myself spiraling, I come back to one reminder: Yoga isn't just what happens on the mat. It's how we show up every day.
I’m not saying it’s easy. It isn’t.

I have to keep reminding myself that what I do matters. That I matter.

That you matter, too.

Showing up in difficult times takes courage, resilience, vulnerability, and humility. But more than anything, it requires staying connected to ourselves - our values, our purpose, and our humanity.

That’s a big part of why I’m hosting a weekend retreat at the Omega Institute this June 19–21.

This retreat isn’t about escaping the world. It’s about reconnecting with yourself so you can move through the world with more ease, clarity, strength, and joy.

Throughout the weekend, I’ll be teaching practical Pain-Free Movement techniques to help you build flexibility, mobility, and strength while learning how to feel more supported, easeful, and grounded in your body.

Because joy matters, too.

Our JOY is the foundation of our RESISTANCE.

To help make the retreat more accessible, I’m also offering two scholarships for BIPOC and LGBTQIA participants.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to feel at home in our bodies.

Not in a “perfect posture” or “fix yourself” kind of way. But in a grounded, human way.

So many of us are moving through life carrying stress, tension, pain, exhaustion, grief, overwhelm… and becoming disconnected from ourselves in the process.

That’s a big part of why I’m teaching a weekend retreat at the Omega Institute this June 19–21: Finding Freedom in Movement ✨

This retreat is about learning practical Pain-Free Movement techniques to help you move through daily life with more ease, support, confidence, and joy in your body.

More than anything, I want this weekend to feel like an exhale 😅

A chance to slow down. To reconnect with yourself. To move differently. To remember what it feels like to feel supported in your body instead of fighting against it.

I’m also offering two scholarships for BIPOC and LGBTQIA participants to help make the retreat more accessible.
