Helped Jasper escape for a couple hours to get some breakfast. I had a burrito, he had a salad.
As Jasper was so excited to see me, he followed me around every step I took. Barely eating any grass but just wanting to be close to me.
Matthew 16:24,25
24 If any of you want to be my folower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross and follow me.
25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
Any of you willing to give up your old life and follow Jesus? The old life has to die, to relieve new life a s a believer. If you are holding on to the old life, you are not following Jesus.
Jasper was giving up green lush grass just to be close to me. He has been in a concrete pen, no grass. With all that grass that he desires, he would pass it up to be close to me.
Are you willing g to give up what you desire to be close to God? I pray we draw closer to God every day. No matter what we have to give up to live a new life.
