What a season it has been for Midway Tennis.
Our incredible run came to an end today at the state tournament, but not without our Falcons competing with heart, grit, and pride on the biggest stage.
Bronc Hand battled through an extremely competitive opening round match that came down to a tiebreaker, showing the fight and determination that has defined his outstanding career.
Isley and Jackson Stanley represented Midway well in mixed doubles, playing tough and competing hard before falling 6-2, 6-4 against strong competition.
Collin Laude’s remarkable season came to a close in the state quarterfinals against a powerhouse opponent from Benjamin who is pursuing his third consecutive state championship.
While today marks the end of this season, it does not define it. From district championships to regional success to state appearances, these athletes have represented Midway with class, resilience, and excellence every step of the way.
We are beyond proud of Bronc, Collin, Isley, Jackson, and all of our Midway tennis players for the way they competed, the way they represented our school, and the legacy they leave behind.
Thank you for an unforgettable season, Falcons! The future remains bright. 🎾🦅
