A huge thank you to all of the players, coaches, families, officials, volunteers, and fans who joined us for our WNC Flag Tournament May 30th in Hendersonville NC! The energy, sportsmanship, and competition throughout the day made this event a tremendous success.

A historic moment: Girls flag football will be an officially sanctioned sport in 2026-27

The NCHSAA Board of Directors passed the motion by a narrow 9-8 margin. A separate motion dictated that the sport will be played during the fall season.

🚨WNC Flag Week 2 Game Day Reminder!🚨

We’re excited to kick off Week 2 games this Saturday at West Henderson High School starting at 8:00 AM! 🏈

Come hungry because the Sweet Retreat food truck will be on-site serving up:
🍩 Mini donuts
🍪 Deep fried Oreos
🥤 Lemonades, craft sodas & boba drinks
☕ Coffee drinks
⚡ All-natural energy drinks

Concessions:
We’ll also have full concessions available. There will be plenty of options to keep everyone fueled throughout the day! 🍕

💵 Admission Reminder:
$5 cash at the gate FREE entry if you volunteered in concessions last week or are signed up to volunteer this week!

🚗 Parking Reminder:
Only board members are permitted to park behind the concessions area.

🚫 Concessions Policy:
No kids allowed in concessions unless approved by a board member.
