The Future Leaders of Tomorrow definitely were in attendance today for opportunity at the Legacy Hoops Academy Inc.-NC Job Fair. Although we didn't get a huge turnout the ones that needed it was there and either left with some encouraging vital information or picked up opportunities to earn income the rest of the summer. That was the objective. Special thanks to all the vendors that participated and took the time out of your day to pour into the youth. (Butner public safety, Chris Privett Masonry, Youngs Construction, Job Corps, Wilkerson HVAC, Hawkins-Bullock Dentistry, Dona Rae Sports&Education, Chic Fi La) Bigger shoutout to the parents that took the time out of your day to bring your kid out to the occasion.

At today's practice the 15u boys and coaches were surprised with a gift. They were presented with Championship Rings for their tournament victory at the NTBA May Madness tournament finishing Undefeated leaving tournament Champions. This recognition was courtesy of Mr.Jerome Kearney a parent of a few of the athletes in the organization. From the kindness of his heart Mr.Kearney saw fit to reward the fellas for a Job well done and their success earned with it being only their 2nd tournament of the season he wanted to let them know that the work they put in didn't go unnoticed. We here at Legacy Hoops Academy Inc.-NC myself including the coaches are extremely appreciative and want to again thank you for the thoughtful gesture Mr.Kearney!!!

Here's a short summary of what Legacy Hoops Academy Inc.-NC will be doing on this upcoming Saturday June 13th at the Butner Soldiers Memorial Arena in Butner NC 416 24th st from 10am-2pm. Had a chance to catch up with Lola Powell of Legacy Hoops Academy Inc.-NC Middle school girls basketball team. Lola had put on an outstanding performance over the weekend at the Phenom/Bond showcase tournament. She's become a key factor in the team dominance and it shows on both ends of the court!!!

Ian saying I'm a great trainer/coach but Believe me when I say I know what I'm doing when it comes to Basketball. It's Physics,Science, Math and Comprehensive Thinking all in one and I obtained enough education to be able to translate and teach it to the athletes to help them become very well skilled players/students of the game. I'M JUST SAYING ASK ANY ATHLETE THAT I'VE EVER EXPLAINED HOW TO MASTER ANYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO BASKETBALL AND I GURANTEE THEY'LL TELL YOU I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!

WILLO MAYO JUMP SHOT BECAME CONSISTENT WITHIN 2 MINUTES OF ME GIVING HER THE DETAILED LOGISTICS ON SHOOTING THE BASKETBALL!!!

Sometimes we as Coaches/Role models/Leaders/Examples don't shed enough light or recognize and or reward our student athletes enough for what they're doing and we often take the glory from them for the success the program has or had which they play the major parts in as well. I said all that to say to ALL OF THE STUDENT ATHLETES OF Legacy Hoops Academy Inc.-NC believe me when i say your hardwork doesn't goes unnoticed i myself am watching each and everyone of you and will not withhold nothing good from you in due season you will reap the fruits of your labor and your hardwork will pay off. IT IS EXTREMELY CHALLENGING TO NOT ONLY MAINTAIN GOOD GRADES AND EXCEL IN ACADEMICS BUT TO OVERLY COMMIT TO DOING SOMETHING POSITIVE DURING THE SUMMER WHEN YOU CAN CHOOSE TO DO ANYTHING IN THE WORLD THAT MEANS YOU NO GOOD BUT YOU CHOSE TO DO SOMETHING BENEFICIAL (I ABSOLUTELY APPLUAD YOU FOR THAT AND WILL DO WHATEVER I AM CAPABLE TO DO TO SHOW YOU THAT WE APPRECIATE ALL THAT YOU DO AND YOUR EFFORTS)

Khalil Townsend has been nothing less of exceptionally amazing through all the years of Basketball I've seen him play since middle school to high school. This kid has always been very athletic and a naturally talent. He's at the point now where he's mastering the IQ of the game and executing every aspect of the game nearly to perfection. Keep up the good work someone somewhere needs exactly what you bring to the table!!!
