Fun Fact!!

Did you know the first recorded artificial bass lure was made in 1822 by Hiram Smith, being a wooden plug. The fishing lure market exploded shortly after this was found to be effective. Although artificial lures for other species like salt water fishing lures go back as far as 2000 BC as ancient origins show. 🤔

Did you know the first organized bass fishing tournament was held in June 1967 on Beaver Lake, Arkansas. Called the All American Invitational Bass Tournament, and organized by Ray Scott who stated B.A.S.S.
