4 years ago today these young men did something special, they went out and won a Championship. It may of been a youth football tournament but they did more then just win a game, they taught me a lesson and the meaning of a team with a dream! They showed that no matter what happens that a group of 24 young men that had no reason to be together besides the love of football and being a true team could beat any task in front of them. I had the pleasure of coaching many of them for 4 or more seasons between Fall and Spring Football and Basketball. When I doubted myself Erica Carfield and these young men and fellow coaches showed me that it had nothing to do with my belief but the belief of these young men. I owe a lot to them and the parents that allowed me to spend time with them, because of you guys whenever anyone complements me on being a youth coach I owe it all to you guys as you made me who I am today with all that you gave this team and myself! And for this I am grateful to have known you and be part of your life, as you guys make it through your senior years and graduate next spring remember that I will always be here for anything that you may ever need in the future. This includes all of the ThunderHawks that I (we) coached from 2011 to present as we will always be family, Much Love to each and everyone of you!
