Unfortunately, we have made the decision to cancel our Lakewood Middle School Softball Summer Workouts due to low registration.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who registered and showed interest. While we’re disappointed we won’t be able to hold the workouts, we’re excited about the future of Lakewood Softball and can’t wait to get everyone together when the 2027 middle school season begins.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing all of our future Lancers on the field this spring! 🥎💙❤️

🏆 LMS 2026 Special Award Winners 🏆

Tonight we had the opportunity to recognize several athletes for their outstanding contributions during the 2026 season.

🥎 Team MVP – Rhian Springer
Rhian impacted the game in every way. She led the team with a .673 batting average, .754 on-base percentage, 33 hits, 33 runs, 25 RBI, 18 extra-base hits, and 5 home runs. Whether at the plate, in the field, or as a leader among her teammates, Rhian consistently elevated those around her and played a major role in our team’s success.

🥎 Offensive MVP – Abby Stimmel
Abby was one of the toughest outs in the lineup, finishing with a .643 batting average, .706 on-base percentage, 27 hits, 25 runs, 20 RBI, 11 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 home runs.

🥎 Most Improved Player – Olivia Zwick
Olivia’s growth showed throughout the season. She finished with a .379 batting average, .514 on-base percentage, 11 hits, 14 runs scored, 7 stolen bases, and continued to become a more confident and dependable contributor.

🥎 Heart & Hustle Award – Maci Barford
Maci brought energy and effort every day. She finished with a .327 batting average, .444 on-base percentage, 17 hits, 19 runs scored, 8 RBI, and 31 quality at-bats while consistently doing whatever the team needed.

🥎 Competitor Award – Alexa Dupler
Alexa competed every time she stepped on the field. In the circle, she threw 48.2 innings with 50 strikeouts and a 3.596 ERA. At the plate, she added a .429 batting average, 15 hits, 17 RBI, and 6 doubles.

Congratulations to each of these athletes on a well-deserved honor. We are proud of everything you accomplished this season and excited to see what the future holds.

Tonight we celebrated an incredible LMS 2026 softball season.

This group finished with an 11-4 record, battled through every challenge, and represented Lakewood with pride both on and off the field. More importantly, they grew as teammates, leaders, and young women throughout the season.

Thank you to our players for your hard work, dedication, and commitment. Thank you to our parents, families, and supporters who made this season possible.

While the wins and accomplishments were special, the memories, friendships, and experiences made along the way are what we’ll remember most.

Congratulations to all of our award winners, and thank you for an unforgettable 2026 season. The future is bright for Lakewood Softball. ❤️💙🥎
