Congratulations to the LHS Athlete of the Week!

We are proud to recognize Rehgan Marietta as our High School Athlete of the Week. Rehgan swam personal bests in all of her events at Sectionals and was also a key member of the 400 free relay team that advanced to Districts. Over the past year, she has grown tremendously as a swimmer and continues to prove herself as a valuable member of the team. Great work, Rehgan!

We finished the season with an AMAZING swim at districts. Our 400 free relay set a new PR with a time of 4:52.14. This was a time drop of -13.45, and each girl also swam a new PR in their 100 free. Way to go!!

This weekend was Sectionals - great swims and many new PRs for the season!

On Saturday we swam in the 11th annual LCL meet at Denison University.

Notable finishes and PRs include:

-Girls 200 Medley A -2.97 (Emily Shull, Milly Meldau, Adison Weekly, Khloe Antunes)
-Boys 200 Medley -1.91 (Evan Gardner, Anton Francis, Leeland Johns, Eli Hunt)
-Milly Meldau 200 free -10.21
-200 Individual Medley : Rehgan Marietta -4.29, Adison Weekly -2.5
-100 fly: Alesha Hart -7.22, Leeland Johns -3.92
-100 free: Robyn Gardner -6.98, Evan Gardner -3.6
-Khloe Antunes 500 free -2.98
-Milly Meldau 100 breast -3.19
-Jayden Booker 100 breast -5.91

The next meet is sectionals. Boys swim 2/13 & girls swim 2/14.

Last night we swam with Watkins and Lancaster at the Fox Family YMCA in Lancaster.

Top finishers included:
Adison Weekly 3rd in the 500 free
Anton Francis 3rd in the 50 free (new PR) and 100 breast (new PR)
Emily Shull 3rd in the 100 back
Evan Gardner 2nd in the 100 back
Khloe Antunes 2nd in the 500 free

Notable time drops & new PRs included:
Evan Gardner 200 free -3.97
Rehgan Marietta 50 breast in a relay -2.97
Leeland Johns 200 free -3.94

Saturday 1/31 we swim in the LCL Championships at Denison University.
