🎗CURE ALL THE COLORS!! 🎗

We're up and running! 😁

The James Cancer Hospital has the donation/registration page ready to go for this fundraising event, so let's get this going!! 😁🎗

Please consider joining us on Sunday, October 24th, at 1:30 p.m. for this Zumbathon® for cancer awareness. The "Colors of Courage" are the ribbon colors that represent all of the different cancers. Choose the ribbon color that you want to represent and wear as much of that color as you want. The ribbon color for all cancers is lavender.

We are coming together to honor and show support for all of our loved ones that have been diagnosed with cancer....currently or in the past. ❤ 100% of the donations from this event will be going to the James Fund for Life at The Ohio State University

Comprehensive Cancer Center-Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James).
I was told by a representative in a face-to-face meeting that once a donation is made that it IMMEDIATELY goes to helping with leading edge research, clinical trials, and new technologies. ❤️ 🙏

To register for this fundraiser, it is a minimum of a $20 donation, but you can donate more if you'd like. If you can't attend but you'd still like to make a donation of any kind, there is a button that you can choose for that also. We greatly appreciate any and all donations. 🤗❤️

Joining me will be other Zumba instructors and their students from around the central Ohio area. Core Nutrition will also be in attendance selling healthy shakes and energy teas, and a portion of those sales will be donated to the overall fundraiser.

HERE WE GOOOOO!!!! 😁🎗😁🎗😁

After four years, I am so extremely excited to be getting back to hosting my cancer awareness Zumbathon® fundraiser! It's been since 2017, and I can't tell you how happy I am to be bringing this back! ❤️😁 🤗

This has been something that I have been passionate about and done since I began teaching Zumba back in 2008. I invite other instructors and their students from around the central Ohio area. We all come together for a BIG dance-fitness party to raise money for a heartfelt cause. 🙏

I am focusing on all cancers. YOU pick the ribbon color of the cancer that has affected YOU. It may end up being one color or many, but you wear the color(s) that you want to represent and support. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎

The donations from this event will be going to the James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University. I have at least 2 nurses in my crew that work there and others that have unfortunately been a patient or have had a family member as a patient there.

This gives you all kinds of time to prepare! Make it fun! Get with others! Spread the word! SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! 😊🤩

LABOR DAY MASH UP CLASS!! 🇺🇸

Monday, September 6th
9:30-11:00 a.m.
$7/Non members…..$5/Unity members
Unity Fitness

- 15 min Zumba Toning
- 15 min HIITZHOP (No burpees or other floor work.)
- 60 min Zumba
- Special guest Zumba instructor, Laura Rees, will be joining me! 😁

*Let’s put in some WORK on this Labor Day morning!
*Wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE if you can.

Hmmmm, wondering what I can do to help you get some good workouts with me this last weekend before I go!! 🤔

I know!! 😁💡Let’s add more time to Zumba Toning…..Bring a little more “hop” to HIITZHOP…..AND….Offer up my free Sunday morning outdoor weight training circuits!!! 😁😜😁😜

Here we go!

SATURDAY
1) Zumba Toning- *8:30 a.m. (45-55 min.)- Bring a pair of 1-3 lb weights.

2) HIITZHOP- 9:30 a.m. (40-45 min.)

SUNDAY
FREE Outdoor weight training circuit class- This week @ Hoback Park- basketball court- 8:30 a.m.- 30-45 min.- Bring a mat and at least 1 pair of heavier weights, 5 lbs and up.

Due to some unexpected interest, I will be doing a special 90-minute combo class tomorrow, Monday, May 31st, at 10:30 a.m. This class will be at UNITY Fitness and will include 30 minutes of HIITZHOP and 60 minutes of Zumba! 😊

This will be ONE Punch (or one Drop-In fee). You are welcome to attend one or both formats! 😊

If you have it, wear some RED, WHITE, & BLUE! ❤🇺🇸💙

You do not have to sign up in advance for this class. I will have you sign in when you arrive.
