Congratulations to Hazleton Area Cougar Baseball seniors Chris Peters and Ryan Welch on being recognized as Scholar Athletes by the West Hazleton Improvement Club!

We are incredibly proud of these young men for their commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field. Their hard work, leadership, and dedication represent everything our program strives to stand for each and every day.

Chris and Ryan have represented Cougar Baseball the right way throughout their careers, and this recognition is well deserved!

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

My staff and I are grateful for those who served with courage, selflessness, and pride. Their sacrifices allow us the opportunity to do what we love every day—compete, coach, and build the next generation through sports.

As we enjoy time with family, friends, and the game we love, let us never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Thank you to all who gave everything for this country.

Congratulations to Hazleton Area Cougar Baseball alumni and RCS Warpath Baseball staff member Matt Shamany on his outstanding performance yesterday for Millersville University in the NCAA Division II Regionals!

Shamany earned the win on the mound, going 6.1 innings while striking out 7 and scattering just 5 hits to help lead Millersville to a Regional Championship and a trip to the Super Regionals.

Proud to see one of our own continuing to compete and succeed at a high level!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Looking back through all these memories, I realize even more how much of my journey was built on my mom’s love, support, sacrifice, and belief in me. There’s no chance I would have achieved the things I did in baseball, or in life, without the confidence you poured into me along the way.

Thank you for always believing, even during the moments I doubted myself.

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who helped make all of this possible. Love you, Mom!!
