With a client on an extended leave, I had the opportunity to bring someone in for a 6-week, 2x/week program with a month of nutrition coaching. It is a great way to open up space for my waitlist ladies… but it’s also tough, because just as momentum builds, it’s time to say goodbye and I hate saying goodbye.
Today was our final session together, and we rechecked measurements and weight. Despite being in one of the busiest seasons of her life, pulled in every direction, she showed up and implemented changes where she could.
In just 6 weeks:
• Strength increased steady each week
• Endurance improved significantly
• 5.45 inches & 0.2 lbs lost
I’m so proud of her and truly hope we get to work together again when a long-term spot opens up, and I will miss seeing her here every week.
Also, I measured two other clients today who, in just 3 months, have lost a combined 17.5 lbs and 19.25 inches. On top of that, my extended leave client returned and managed to lose another 1.75" during her absence.
And while we’re on the topic of measurements…and real life....
Some stats will go up. Some will go down. Some will stay the same.
That is NORMAL.
Bodies fluctuate. Composition shifts. Progress isn’t linear, especially as you get closer to your goals.
This is exactly why tracking your weights, your reps, and your performance matters so much.
Because at the end of the day:
Strength and overall ability > the number on the scale.
Congrats ladies! Keep it up!
