Keep it going Nuggets! Nugget golfers continue to play a lots of golf in Hawley and in area tournaments. Adam Ostrowski took home 2nd place 🥈 in a recent tournament at Tianna near Walker, MN. Adam also took 2nd place 🥈and Johnathan Dahlen took 3rd place at the challenging golf course at Forest Hills near Detroit Lakes. Kohen Riedberger also played in several tournaments including an impressive 12th place finish at Bois de Sioux and 14th at The Meadows. Parker Stotts has also won a couple of events this summer and continues to play summer events: Many other Nuggets are playing a lot on their fantastic home course at good old Hawley Golf Club. It continues to be an awesome summer. Way to go guys! ⛳️👏🏼😍

Nugget Golf Camp!! This week we had our 2nd Nugget Golf Camp of the summer. For the last 30 years we’ve had one summer golf camp, but due to popular demand and an amazingly cooperative home golf course we added an additional camp. Well over 130 kids total from Grades 1-6 filled the driving range and practice holes. The coaches had as much fun as the kids! Lots of learning, playing, and enjoying a fun-filled, life-long sport. Great summer days!! ⛳️👏🏼😍🔥

Staying hot!!🔥🔥🔥 Parker Stotts, Adam Ostrowski, and Johnathan Dahlen found fairways and greens again today as the trio of Nuggets played in a MN PGA event at Village Green in Moorhead. Parker Stotts fired an incredible 4-under par round of 68 on a hot and windy day to take home medalist honors. Adam Ostrowski shot an impressive round of 78 to earn 5th, while Johnathan Dahlen placed 10th overall with an 83. Keep it going Nuggets!!

Way to go guys!! Congrats to Parker Stotts, Johnathan Dahlen, and Adam Ostrowski this past week. All three competed at a challenging Junior PGA event at The Meadows in Moorhead. Parker fired an impressive 1-under round of 71 to earn medalist - four strokes ahead of the field. Johnathan placed 14th and Adam was 16th. Lots of Nugget golfers are playing rounds and rounds of golf this summer as they continue to improve their games. Keep it going boys!!

NUGGET GOLF CAMP!!! We had a fantastic week with 70+ boys and girls grades 1-6. This long-standing tradition has been an excellent look into the future of Nugget golf. Lots of learning, practice on the range, chipping, putting, and playing holes. The coaches are very excited to see how these young Nuggets develop. So much fun!!! Special thanks to Hawley Golf Club for letting us use their amazing facilities. If you missed out, we have another camp starting July 20th, sign up through community ed today! Awesome news!!!

We’re excited to share some great news — Clay Rasmussen has officially joined Hawley Golf Club as a full-time team member!

For years, Clay has been a valued part of our staff as a part-time employee, and we couldn’t be happier to see him take this next step. He is currently working toward becoming a Certified Teaching Professional, and once he completes his certification, he’ll be offering both individual and group golf lessons right here at Hawley Golf Club.

In addition to continuing his role in the pro shop, Clay will play an important part in our daily operations, help shape our future teaching programs, and support our men’s and ladies’ leagues, club tournaments, and many other activities throughout the season.

Clay’s passion for the game, dedication to our members and guests, and commitment to growing the sport make him a tremendous asset to our club. We’re excited for what’s ahead and hope you’ll join us in congratulating Clay the next time you see him!

Please help us welcome him into his new full-time role!
