Hattiesburg Parks & Recreation is launching a new adult co-ed ultimate frisbee league this fall.

League play will be on Sunday evenings, beginning Oct. 25 at Tatum Park, with regular-season games scheduled for Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. The postseason tournament will begin Nov. 29.

Registration is individual, and teams will be assigned after registration closes with an emphasis on creating balanced rosters based on skill and experience. Players must be 18 or older, and all experience levels are welcome.

The registration fee is $25 per player and includes a team jersey. Players must be 18 or older, and all experience levels are welcome.

Payment must be made in person by Oct. 9 at the Ben McNair Center, 300 N. 12th Ave. Registration is not complete until payment has been received.

No stage is too small to have a little fun!

That’s the idea behind Downtown Hattiesburg Associations' PARK(ing) Day, and we’re excited to be a small part of it.

Our little corner of it? Dance from 2–4 PM on Main Street, where one parallel parking space becomes a tiny performing arts stage featuring micro-performances from local artists.

Come downtown, catch a performance, then keep exploring. There will be something new to discover around every block.
