Our MVP, Bennett Rivers, went 8-10 at the plate out of 3 games with 9 total runs and 4 runs batted in! He played a heck of a game on third with 4 putouts and 2 assists! I think this title was well deserved for this tournament. Congrats Bennett!!

Coming in 2nd isn’t such a bad way to start our 8u season! We definitely wanted the win, but being our first time in a championship game, I’d say that being runner ups is a pretty great start! These kids played their hearts out in the heat and we couldn’t have been any prouder!
